Pioneer Architecture Welcomes James Brooks to the Team
I’m proud to announce that James Brooks has joined Pioneer Architecture as Senior Project Manager and Project Delivery Lead, strengthening our leadership team as we continue to grow our logistics-focused practice.
James and I first worked together in 2010 at Randall Scott Architects. That season marked a pivotal moment in my career. I had stepped away from leading my previous firm, 3D Visualization Professionals, as the market downturn forced difficult decisions. What felt uncertain at the time ultimately became direction.
On my first day, I met James, He mentioned he went to LSU — earning his Bachelor of Architecture with a Minor in Construction Management, missing each other by only 3 years. That immediately bonded us. Then we realized something else — we share the same birthday. As Forrest Gump said – “Since then, we’ve been like peas and carrots.”
It was there, at RSA, that I had the opportunity to work alongside Greg Conaway, Donnie Reece, and James Brooks. We were delivering under pressure. We were coordinating complex projects. We were protecting schedules. We were functioning as a collaborative team.
Those years – built trust — and trust is what allows teams to execute at a high level.
James remained with MacGregor Associate Architects for another three years, leading major logistics projects for developers including IDI, Core5, Brookfield, and VanTrust – grounded not just in design, but in execution.
Today, that alignment comes full circle.
As Senior Project Manager and Project Delivery Lead, James will oversee project flow, and delivery performance — ensuring that every project meets Pioneer Architecture’s expectations for precision and schedule discipline.
Reuniting this team isn’t about nostalgia. It’s about alignment. It’s about shared standards. It’s about experience under pressure.
Our goal is simple – COLLABORATIVE, COORDINATED, VISUAL EXPERIENCE THAT EXCEEDS OUR CLIENTS’ EXPECTATIONS.
Please join us in welcoming James to the Pioneer Architecture team. Feeling very blessed.
